Overview

This guide explains how to interpret and use key Viaesys reports, including:

  • Site Operations Report

  • Assigned Operations Report

Report Data Verification

When reviewing reports, ensure the correct date range is selected.

Example

If no data appears:

  • Adjust the date range (e.g., January 18 – February 7)

  • Confirm that relevant service types are selected

Reports typically focus on service-based data, such as:

  • Winter work

  • Salt application (liquid or granular)

  • Lot servicing

Understanding the Site Operations Report

The Site Operations Report is designed for live, real-time operational tracking.

Key Sections

  • Top Row: Completed work

  • In Progress Section: Active jobs and visits

Visit Tracking

  • Uses background GPS tracking

  • Tracks activity as long as the user is logged in

  • Provides a trail of where work was performed

Color Coding in Reports

Reports use color indicators to show assignment status.

Color Definitions

  • πŸ”΄ Red β€” Assigned work not completed

  • 🟒 Green β€” Assigned work completed by the assigned user

  • πŸ”΅ Blue β€” Work completed by someone other than the assigned user

Interpreting Assignment Counters

Example:

4/5 Green, 1/5 Blue

This means:

  • 5 sites were assigned

  • 4 were completed by the assigned user

  • 1 was completed by someone else

What Counts as an Assignment?

A site is considered assigned only when:

  • A service is specified
➑️ This is called a Site Service Assignment

Important Distinction

Feature

Purpose

Site Service Assignment

Assigns work to a specific user

Access Groups

Allocates resources (not assignments)

Access Groups do not determine assignment ownership.

Report Filtering

Reports are filtered based on:

  1. Selected Sites

  2. Service Types

Example filters:

  • Granular application

  • Liquid application

  • Internal service types

Reports only include data that matches both filters.

Assigned Operations Report

The Assigned Ops Report is similar to the Site Operations Report but has a different use case.

Recommended Usage

  • βœ… Use during live storm operations

  • ❌ Not recommended for general reporting

Notes

  • Uses the same color coding system

  • Focused on real-time operational visibility

Vehicle Data in Reports

Reports may include multiple vehicles per site, especially for:

  • Large sites

  • Complex operations

The data reflects same-day activity, providing a snapshot of operations.
