Job Source Filter (Site Jobs Reports)

When generating a Site Jobs Report or SiteDocs report, you can apply filters to control which jobs are included in the data.

One of the available filters is Job Source, which allows you to select where the job records were created from.

This helps users refine reports based on how work was logged in the system.

Available Job Sources

There are three possible job sources:

1. JobTrack

JobTrack refers to jobs created using the mobile JobTrack application.

This app is typically used by field crews while they are on-site to:

  • Record job activity

  • Upload photos

  • Enter materials used

  • Track labor and crew information

  • Mark jobs as complete

  • Save timestamps and location data

This is the most common job source for field operations.

2. Portal

These jobs may be entered by:

  • Operations managers

  • Supervisors

  • Administrative staff

  • Dispatch teams

Portal-created jobs are often used for:

  • Manual job entry

  • Corrections or adjustments

  • Administrative tracking

  • Back-office documentation

3. Vehicle Site Visit

Vehicle Site Visit jobs are automatically generated when a vehicle enters a configured geofence around a site.

If this feature is enabled:

  • The system detects vehicle arrival

  • A job is automatically created for that location

  • No manual action is required from the crew

This is commonly used for:

  • Automated visit tracking

  • Route verification

  • Compliance monitoring

  • Passive job logging

Site-level breakdown

Below the summary, the report breaks down information per site, including:
